Hostgator is my favorite hosting company and great for bloggers starting out. They have cheap monthly prices, an easy interface and good customer service. I have a Baby Gator plan which houses multiple sites for around $71/ six months. I recommend them.
I use Impreza Theme on all my websites. ISold through Envato, a marketplace of plugins and themes. Impreza feels easy to learn with some WordPress knowledge. Their support is super responsive!
